MySalus Well-being Community

Our Mission is to empower all individuals to engage in and own their holistic well-being.

Our Vision is to provide a permanent and portable Well-being Community of empowered individuals who engage in, own, and advocate for their personal and community well-being ownership.

Using today’s “always connected, anywhere” technology, we enable you to own, manage, and monitor the achievement of your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being goals.  We then surround members with a network of community learning, sharing, and partners resources to support building a healthy, well and prosperous society.

As a non-profit organization, we are able to provide you with a universal and independent well-being community to engage in and own your holistic (Mind, Body, and Spirit) well-being.  This represents a paradigm shift from reliance on the healthcare system to personal reliance for managing and maintaining (owning) our holistic well-being. MySalus is operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Federal tax code – Pending IRS Approval.

Many of the features and benefits offered in the community are available on the internet through various entities, both public and private.  Our approach is to bring these various resources and tools together into one community environment where we can manage our own health, wellness, and prosperity as well as leverage each other’s knowledge, insights, and experience through social sharing within the community.
Membership in the community is free-of-charge and starts with registering your membership to gain access to the community’s features, tools, and functions.

MySalus Advisory Board

Dave ThompsonDavid S. Thompson is the founder and creator of MySalus and serves as the Board of Directors inspirational guide and strategic compass.  Dave is a visionary systems thinker and Holistic Well-being advocate who has worn many hats over the years.  His passion is solving complex business problems and implementing innovative and cost effective solutions.  MySalus represents his way of facilitating a paradigm shift in how we view and manage our personal healthcare.

His interest in healthcare began with his professional work, finding it both rewarding and motivating helping others, seeing the many opportunities for improvement.  About four years ago, life events drew a sharp focus for me on a personal level, coming to the realization that he was not healthy, well or necessarily happy.  Dave had taken these aspects of life for granted.  After deciding to take ownership of these aspects, he soon found out how hard it is to do so efficiently and effectively.  Missing were the personal tools, the insights and support partners he needed to make true and lasting changes in my lifestyle.

dnbergDavid Berg serves as the Secretary of MySalus.  David is a retired New York City Supervisor, District 24, New York City Board of Education and former Elementary School Teacher Trainer. In these roles, David supervised on a district level, funded reading programs, library programs.   As Assistant Director of Health and Screening Services supervised 35 district level screening supervisors in all city school districts.

I would describe myself as a spiritual person.  I believe that energy changes form and that although we may lose loved ones, their energy remains around us in another form to help us in times of need.  I believe, too, that it is important that we help others as best we can, not for the anticipation that they will help us in return, but that at sometimes in our lives, they or someone else will provide us with the same type of help.  In other words, I believe that there is a balance in this world and that by helping others we are making a deposit into a “help account” from which we will be able to draw at a later time.

jdrakeDr. Jennifer Drake brings her knowledge and expertise as a practicing Chiropractor and Homeopathic holistic doctor specializing in servicing people who have unresolved illness and are looking for hope. Dr. Drake is passionate in believing that a natural health approach utilizing practical, scientific means is the foundation of our well-being. Her goal is to teach her patients to really listen to their bodies.

Dr. Drake uses a system of analysis called Biosequencing, that uses acupuncture points. “The sequence of healing is extremely important”, says Dr. Drake. “The foundation must be stable. The organs, tissues, and muscles need to be healthy enough to support the adjustment. At each visit, I let the body’s wisdom lead the way.” She is able to determine accurately where the body is blocked or imbalanced using this whole body approach.
